Congress will not be cowed down by the vindictive politics of Modi govt:Dr Sayeed Naseer | |  Jammu, April 19 (Scoop News)-AICC General Secretary Incharge J&K Affairs Dr. Sayeed Naseer Hussain MP has said that Congress will not be cowed down by the vindictive politics of Modi govt and would fight back it's anti democratic and authoritarian policies with full might,as we have nothing to hide.
Addressing a Press Conference today at PCC HQ Jammu, along with JKPCC Chief Tariq Hameed Karra, AICC General Secretary CLP Leader G A Mir. Working Presidents Tara Chand and Raman Bhalla. AICC Secretary Manoj Yadav, Chief Spokesperson Ravinder Sharma, I/C HQ Ved Mahajan, Dr. Sayeed said that after AICC Session at Ahmedabad in Gujrat and party's resolve to fight back divisive politics of BJP from Gujrat itself, Modi govt got unnerved to go whole hog against Gandhi family and other top leadership in a fake and fabricated case where no money transactions have taken place. He said that Congress will not be cowed down by such tactics as it fought against and defeated the mighty Britishers.
Referring to the Wakf Amendment, Dr. Sayeed said that same questions which the opposition had raised in the JPC and in the house, are being raised as grounds of Challenge before Supreme Court which has been considering the matter .
He expressed grave concern over the rising terrorism in Jammu region during recent years as number of our jawans have been sacrificing their lives. Over 50 security personal have lost lives in last two years, still the centre govt and bjp leaders have been making false claims of normalcy. It is the Home Ministry which is directly dealing with security situation in J& K UT. BJP must explain it's failures on this front and bring the situation under control.
Referring to the restoration of Statehood, he said centre is ignoring the most popular demand of people after repeated commitments, Dr. Sayed said that Congress will further intensify struggle for the fulfillment of this demand .
Referring to his meeeting with the Chief Minister today morning,he said it was quite cordial and the coalition will work for the welfare of people who have suffered a lot in last ten years in the absence of democracy.
He said that he is taking review of the organization affair s and had a long deliberations with the senior leaders yesterday and will meeeting different delegations with party workers from different parts today also in order to further strengthen the organization. In reply to a question about the possibility of alliance during Panchayat ULB Elections, he said it will be decided at appropriate time. ... |
