Hill Council Kargil hosts farewell party in honour of outgoing officer Shehzad Ahmad

Kargil, April 22 (Scoop News)-The Hill Council Kargil today organised a warm farewell party in honour of District Soil Conservation Officer Kargil, in recognition of his dedicated services and contributions to the district over the past 13 years.

Executive Councillor for Rural Development, Er. Punchok Tashi, Executive Councillor for Agriculture, Syed Mujtaba, Former CEC Kacho Feroz Khan, Councillor Chuliskamboo Altaf Hussain, and Councillor Tai Suru Abdul Hadi, besides several other officials were present.

The Executive Councillors and the Former CEC, in their addresses, expressed heartfelt gratitude to Shehzad Ahmad for his tireless efforts and commitment towards the development of the soil conservation sector in Kargil.

They highlighted his instrumental role in implementing several projects and bringing about positive changes in sustainable land and water management practices across the district.

They further appreciated his professional integrity, cooperative approach with stakeholders, and consistent efforts to uplift rural and agricultural communities through innovative and result oriented initiatives.

Shehzad Ahmad, in his farewell address, expressed his sincere thanks to the Hill Council, departmental colleagues, and the people of Kargil for their support and cooperation during his tenure. The event concluded with the presentation of traditional mementos and tokens of appreciation.
