| Congress holds condolence meeting, expresses pain, anguish over loss of lives in horrific terrorist attack | |
Srinagar, April 23 (Scoop News)-J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) held a condolence meeting at Srinagar Party office in which rich tributes were paid to the innocent tourist who attained martyrdom in the mindless & gruesome terrorist attack in Bisaran area of Pahalgam, terming the incident as highly shameful and condemnable act.
J&K Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC) President Tariq Hammed Karra presided over the condolence meeting while AICC General Secretary Ghulam Ahmad Mir and other senior leaders participated and paid rich tributes to martyrs.
The meeting observed two-minute silence in honor of the martyred tourists and expressed its heartfelt condolences and solidarity with the bereaved families.
The meeting expressed pain and anguish over the horrific terrorist attack in which 26 innocent tourists from different states attained martyrdom while 17 others were left wounded, terming the incident as a gruesome, dastardly and inhuman act and demanding exemplary punishment to the terrorist behind this attack.
No words to express grief and sorrow, the bloodshed at Pahalgam has left us completely devastated, it is a National tragedy, JKPCC President Tariq Hameed Karra said, our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families, he added.
Speaking on the occasion, AICC General Secretary Ghulam Ahmad Mir strongly condemned the horrific terrorist attack on innocent tourists in Bisaran Pahalgam. Mourning the loss of lives, Mir said that the killing of any person or persons is highly condemnable and unacceptable. We share the grief with all those, who have lost their family members and express our heartfelt condolences and solidarity with them, Mir said.
