| NC Leaders Pay Glowing Tributes to Former MLC Brij Mohan Sharma | |
Jammu, February 17 (Scoop News)- Senior leaders of the Jammu and Kashmir National Conference (JKNC) attended the last rites of senior party leader and former Member of the Legislative Council (MLC), Shri Brij Mohan Sharma, at Jogi Gate Cremation Ground in Jammu today.
The party delegation was led by Senior Leader and Advisor to the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Nasir Aslam, and comprised Additional General Secretary Ajay Sadhotra, Provincial President Jammu Rattan Lal Gupta, Rajya Sabha Member of Parliament Sajad Kichloo, and Former MLC Asgar Ali, among other senior functionaries.
Shri Brij Mohan Sharma, who also served as Vice President of JKNC Jammu Province, was remembered as a dedicated grassroots leader who worked tirelessly for strengthening the party organization and addressing the concerns of the people. Throughout his political journey, he remained committed to the principles of secularism, social justice, and inclusive development.
A large number of party leaders, local unit functionaries, office bearers, and people from various sections of society attended the last rites to pay their respects. The gathering reflected the deep regard and affection Shri Sharma commanded across party lines and within the community.
While paying glowing tributes, the leaders described him as a man of integrity, humility, and unwavering commitment to public service. They recalled his significant contributions towards strengthening the party at the grassroots level in Jammu province and his consistent efforts in highlighting public issues.
