YNC has emerged as a vibrant platform for nurturing young leadership: Tejinder Singh*
Welcomes scores of youth activists from Gandhi Nagar into YNC fold


Jammu, February 19 (Scoop News)-The Jammu and Kashmir Youth National Conference (YNC) Provincial President Jammu, Tejinder Pal Singh Aman, today said that YNC has emerged as a vibrant platform for nurturing young leadership and preparing youth to take on greater responsibilities within the party.



He made these remarks while welcoming scores of young political activists from Gandhi Nagar at the party’s provincial headquarters, Sher-e- Kashmir Bhawan, Jammu. The joining programme took place in the presence of Sardar Tejinder Pal Singh Aman Provincial President Jammu YNC, Zamir Quershi, Sahil Kerni District President Jammu Urban YNC, Amit Langeh District Vice President Jammu Urban YNC, Amit Sharma Joint Secretary District Jammu Urban YNC , Attal Singh and Naresh Kumar.



Addressing the gathering, Aman said that YNC is committed to empowering young voices and transforming their energy into constructive political participation.



“YNC is not merely a youth wing; it is a leadership nursery where young people are trained, mentored and entrusted with meaningful responsibilities. We believe in grooming today’s youth to become tomorrow’s policymakers,” he said.



Highlighting the initiatives, Hon’ble Chief Minister Omar Abdullah led government. Aman said the government has consistently reached out to unemployed youth through transparent recruitment processes, focused skill development programmes and support for entrepreneurship. “Our aim is to create opportunities, restore confidence and ensure that merit and hard work are duly recognised,” he added.



He further stated that the party is actively strengthening youth participation by assigning organisational responsibilities, involving them in decision-making processes and creating avenues for political growth. “Youth participation in the party is not symbolic; it is substantive and decisive. Their ideas, energy and commitment are central to our vision for Jammu and Kashmir,” Aman asserted.



Meanwhile, the youth activists voiced serious concern over the rising incidents of crime in society, particularly the growing menace of drug abuse. They urged the authorities to strengthen preventive measures and called for the installation of CCTV cameras at all public places, including parks and parking spaces across Jammu city, with special focus on the Gandhi Nagar area, to enhance surveillance and ensure public safety.



Aman assured them that he will raise the issue with concerned authorities for swift redressal.
