| DIG SKR chairs review meeting on Crime & UAPA cases in Anantnag | |
Srinagar, April 13 (Scoop News)- Deputy Inspector General of Police, South Kashmir Range, Javid Iqbal Matoo-IPS, chaired a comprehensive review meeting on crime and UAPA-related cases at the Conference Hall of DPO Anantnag.
The meeting was attended by SSP Anantnag, Amod Ashok Nagpure-IPS, along with SP North Camp Aishmuqam, Rameez Raja, SO to DIG SKR Shri Syed Afaq, besides all SDPOs, DySPs PC's, and SHOs of the district.
During the meeting, a detailed review of ongoing investigations in crime and UAPA cases was undertaken. The chair emphasized the need for expeditious disposal of cases, maintaining high standards of investigation, and ensuring strict adherence to legal procedures.
DIG SKR stressed the importance of enhanced coordination among field officers, proactive policing, and intensified efforts to curb criminal and anti-national activities. He also directed officers to strengthen intelligence gathering and ensure timely follow-up in sensitive cases.
SSP Anantnag briefed the chair regarding the current crime scenario and the progress achieved in the investigation of various cases in the district.
The meeting concluded with directions to all officers to remain vigilant, professional, and committed towards maintaining peace, security, and rule of law in the district.
