| BJP Mahila Morcha holds massive Nari Shakti Vandan (Mahila Sammelan) at Bishnah | | 
Bishnah,April 16 (Scoop News)- BJP Mahila Morcha held a massive Mahila Sammelan in Bishnah Assembly Constituency under party’s organizational District Border.
Sammelan was organized in support of the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam in commitment towards women empowerment. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from Matru Shakti, including a remarkable presence of Self Help Group (SHG) sisters and Lakhpati Didis, reflecting widespread support for this historic initiative.
The Mahila Sammelan was led by BJP Mahila Morcha President Smt. Neha Mahajan ji at Salehar, Bishnah, and saw overwhelming participation of more than 350 women, showcasing strong grassroots support for the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam.
In her welcome address, Smt. Neha Mahajan ji highlighted the significance of the Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam as a transformative step towards ensuring greater representation of women in legislative bodies. She also specially acknowledged the vital role of Self Help Groups in strengthening the rural economy and empowering women at the grassroots level.
MLA Smt. Devyani Rana ji, in her address, lauded the visionary leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji and emphasized that initiatives like Lakhpati Didi are bringing a socio-economic transformation by enabling women to become financially independent and self-reliant.
MLA Prof. Gharu Ram Bhagat ji reiterated that empowering women, especially those associated with Self Help Groups, is key to building a strong and progressive society. He stated that these women are emerging as leaders and role models in their communities.
MLA Dr. Rajeev Bhagat ji appreciated the active participation of Lakhpati Didis and SHG members, noting that their success stories are inspiring many others to take up entrepreneurship and contribute to economic growth.
The proceedings (Manch Sanchalan) were effectively conducted by District President Mahila Morcha Smt. Rajni Choudhary ji. Whereas the Vote of Thanks was presented by State General Secretary, Mahila Morcha and Programme Co-Incharge, Smt. Poonam Gupta ji, who expressed heartfelt gratitude to all dignitaries, participants, and organizers, and gave special appreciation to the Lakhpati Didis and SHG sisters for their inspiring participation and contribution in making the programme a grand success.
A key highlight of the Sammelan was the inspiring presence and participation of Lakhpati Didis and Self Help Group sisters, including Sharmeela ji, Sapna ji, Bindu Charak ji, Kiran Bala ji, and Renu Saroch ji, who shared their journeys of transformation—from financial dependency to becoming self-reliant entrepreneurs. Through their association with SHGs, they have achieved sustainable livelihoods and are also generating employment opportunities within their communities. Their stories stand as a testament to the success of women-led development initiatives and inspired all with the vision of Atmanirbhar Nari, Sashakt Bharat.
The programme was graced by District President Sh. Rinku Choudhary ji. Special thanks were extended to Kisan Morcha President Sh. Rakesh Pant ji and SC Morcha President Adv. Dharminder Kumar ji for their support and dedicated efforts in making the programme a grand success.
