Srinagar, May 05 (Scoop News)- Police in Baramulla organised a mega Nasha Mukt rally at Gulmarg, witnessing overwhelming participation from all stakeholders. The rally saw enthusiastic involvement of school children from various institutions across Tangmarg Sub-Division, along with officers from civil administration and allied departments.
Among the prominent officers present were SDPO Tangmarg, CEO Gulmarg, SDM Gulmarg, Tehsildar Gulmarg, SHO Gulmarg, and officials from various departments, reflecting a collective commitment towards eradicating the menace of drug abuse. The rally commenced with participants raising awareness slogans and spreading the message of a drug-free society. It culminated at the Convention Centre Gulmarg, where an interactive session on the ill effects of drug abuse was conducted.
During the event, a Nasha Mukti pledge was administered, with all participants collectively resolving to stay away from drugs and contribute towards building a healthier society.
Police reiterated its commitment to continue such awareness initiatives under the ongoing anti-drug campaign and urged the public, especially youth, to actively support the mission of a drug-free society.
