| Medical cum awareness camp held at Kurmail- Assar | |
Doda, May 07(Scoop News)-A free medical camp under the Mobile Medical Unit (MMU) was successfully organized at Village Kurmail in Medical Block Assar, the other day.
During the camp, the locals were provided a wide range of healthcare services including general health check-ups, screening for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs), dental check-ups and other essential medical services.
The medical camp was headed by Dr. Tahir Muneeb Zargar, Senior Dental Surgeon. Dr. Faheem Wani along with Swami Raj (Pharmacist) from the MMU team also rendered their dedicated services during the camp.
More than 50 patients were examined and screened during the camp and provided free medicines.
A health awareness session was also conducted to educate the public about preventive healthcare measures, hygiene and healthy lifestyle practices.
Awareness regarding the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (NMBA) was also imparted, highlighting the harmful effects of drug abuse and the importance of building a drug-free society.
