| AAROHAN 2026: National Youth Festival 2026 & Viksit J&K Young Leaders Dialogue | | “Where Youth Power Meets Innovation” “Rise, Shine and Conquer” | 
Srinagar, May 10(Scoop News)-YSS proudly presented AAROHAN 2026, a flagship youth celebration being organized under the banner of the National Youth Festival 2026 and Viksit J&K Young Leaders Dialogue. The three-day mega event aims to bring together the vibrant youth of the country on a common platform of talent, innovation, leadership, culture, and creativity. Honorable LG of J&K is inaugurating the festival as Chief Guest while as Honourable Minster for Sports of the J&K Government would be chief guest on closing.
Centered around the inspiring theme “Where Youth Power Meets Innovation,” AAROHAN 2026 reflects the aspirations, dynamism, and transformative potential of young minds. The festival seeks to create meaningful opportunities for youth engagement by blending cultural excellence, intellectual expression, technological innovation, and leadership development into one grand celebration. The term AAROHAN, meaning “ascending” or “rising,” symbolizes the journey of youth towards excellence, empowerment, and nation-building. Festivals of this nature play a significant role in channelizing the energy of youth towards constructive and progressive activities while promoting confidence, discipline, unity, healthy competition, and social harmony.
The official logo of AAROHAN 2026 beautifully captures the cultural richness, natural beauty, and youthful spirit of Jammu and Kashmir. The artistic representation of music, dance, dialogue, mountains, heritage architecture, and the national tricolour symbolizes unity, peace, creativity, diversity, and progress. The tagline “Rise, Shine and Conquer” reflects the determination of youth to excel, inspire, and lead.
AAROHAN 2026 is expected to witness enthusiastic participation from students of schools, colleges, and universities, alongside young innovators, emerging leaders, youth clubs, and community organizations. The event will also host sports and cultural teams, artists, performers, coaches, mentors, educators, government officials, and distinguished guests.
The festival will feature a wide range of activities and competitions including dance competitions, singing performances, hackathon challenges, PPT presentation competitions, youth leadership dialogues, cultural and literary activities, interactive sessions, and talent showcase platforms. Participants of the national youth festival from different places of the country would be taken for Kashmir darshan.
The inclusion of Hackathon and PPT competitions highlights the Directorate’s vision of integrating innovation, creativity, and intellectual engagement into youth development initiatives. These platforms are designed to encourage problem-solving, communication skills, teamwork, leadership, and innovative thinking among participants. Special emphasis will also be laid on promoting leadership, cultural preservation, healthy lifestyles, social responsibility, and constructive youth participation.
Through dialogue, creativity, and competition, AAROHAN 2026 aims to inspire young individuals to contribute positively towards society and the vision of a progressive and developed Jammu and Kashmir. The Directorate of Youth Services and Sports J&K has made comprehensive arrangements for the successful conduct of the event.
