| Sat Sharma reviews Dr. Mookherjee Smriti Pakhwada, digital training preparations | | BJP holds series of meetings at party headquarters |
Jammu, June 24 (Scoop News)-BJP Jammu & Kashmir President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma (CA) chaired a series of meetings at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, to review preparations for the upcoming Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookherjee Smriti Pakhwada (fortnight programmes) and digital training programmes aimed at strengthening the party at the grassroots level.
The first meeting focused on the observance of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookherjee Smriti Pakhwada, which was attended by party office bearers and convened by BJP Vice-President and Pakhwada Incharge Rajeev Charak. The second meeting deliberated on the forthcoming training programmes to be conducted through the party's digital learning platform, under the guidance of Training Department Incharge Dr. Parneesh Mahajan.
J&K BJP Vice-Presidents Bharat Bhushan, Priya Sethi, and Rekha Mahajan, General Secretaries Sanjita Dogra, and Baldev Singh Biallwaria, Secretaries Reema Padha, Arun Sharma, and Pawan Sharma, district prabharis, district presidents, and others participated in the meetings.
Sat Sharma, while addressing the meetings, said that Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookherjee's life and sacrifice continue to inspire generations of nationalists. He said that the Smriti Pakhwada, commencing from June 23, 2026, the Balidan Diwas of Dr. Mookherjee, and concluding on his 125th birth anniversary on July 6, 2026, must be observed with full dedication and public participation. He informed that booth-level tribute programmes, plantation drives, seminars for college and university students by Yuva Morcha and Mahila Morcha, district-level events, and awareness campaigns highlighting the circumstances surrounding Dr. Mookherjee's mysterious death would be organized across Jammu & Kashmir.
Sat Sharma, reviewing the organizational training programmes, stressed the importance of continuous cadre development and directed the training committee members on the training through digital learning platform to ensure extensive effective implementation of training sessions for booth committees, and mandal committees of various morchas.
Rajeev Charak detailed the preparations for the Smriti Pakhwada and said that comprehensive programmes have been planned at every organizational level to commemorate the life, vision, and supreme sacrifice of Dr. Shyama Prasad Mookherjee.
Dr. Parneesh Mahajan briefed the meeting about the upcoming training schedule and digital learning modules. He said that the training programmes are designed to equip party functionaries with organizational skills, ideological clarity, and effective communication techniques.
