| PSA Delegation Calls On CEO Budgam; Discusses School Issues | | & Student Welfare To Strengthen The Education Sector | Budgam, June 29 (Scoop News)- A delegation of the Private Schools' Association (PSA), led by Director Media & Communications and District President Budgam, Dr. Owais Mattoo, today called on the newly posted Chief Education Officer (CEO), Budgam, Bashir Ahmad Ganai, to extend a warm welcome and discuss a wide range of issues concerning the private education sector in the district.
The delegation presented bouquets of flowers to the Chief Education Officer as a token of goodwill and conveyed their heartfelt congratulations and best wishes for a successful, productive and people-oriented tenure.
Among those who accompanied the delegation were Tariq Ahmad Chopan (Zonal President Magam, KLCO Presentation School), Shameem Ahmad Bhat (Zonal President Charar-i-Sharief, Noorani Nobel Mission School), Altaf Raja (Zonal President Narbal, Shaheen Educational Institutes), Myser Ahmad (New Blossom Institute), Sheeraz Ahmad Raina (Eric Biscoe School, Pakherpora), Bilal Ahmad Dar (Syed Aali School), Altaf Hussain Shah (Winsome Valley School) and several other members of the Association.
During the meeting, the delegation held a detailed and constructive interaction with the CEO and discussed various matters concerning student’s welfare, schools and the overall private education sector in Budgam district. The members highlighted day-to-day administrative and academic issues faced by private educational institutions and sought their timely redressal in the larger interest of students and quality education.
The delegation also emphasised the need for stronger coordination and regular dialogue between the Education Department and private schools to ensure the effective implementation of student-centric policies, safeguard students' academic interests, address institutional concerns and promote quality education through collaborative reforms.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Owais Mattoo warmly welcomed Bashir Ahmad Ganai on assuming charge as Chief Education Officer (CEO), Budgam and expressed confidence in his leadership and administrative experience.
He said "Education is a shared responsibility that demands collective vision, mutual trust and continuous collaboration among all stakeholders. The progress of our students and the future of our society depend upon a strong partnership between the Education Department and private educational institutions. We are confident that under the leadership of the worthy CEO, the genuine concerns of schools will receive timely attention. The Private Schools' Association (PSA) assures its complete cooperation in every initiative aimed at strengthening the education sector, improving academic standards and creating a more student-centric learning environment across Budgam district."
Responding to the delegation, Chief Education Officer (CEO) Budgam, Bashir Ahmad Ganai, thanked the members for their courtesy visit and appreciated the constructive role played by private educational institutions in the district.
He said "My office remains fully committed to addressing all genuine issues and concerns of private schools in accordance with the rules and regulations. Government and private educational institutions are equally important pillars of our education sector and both are making valuable contributions towards the intellectual and social development of our children. We believe in maintaining an open, transparent and cooperative relationship with all stakeholders for the overall improvement of education in Budgam."
Shameem Ahmad Bhat, Zonal President Charar-i-Sharief, stressed the importance of institutional coordination and mutual understanding. He said "A healthy relationship between schools and the Education Department is essential for ensuring quality education and smooth academic functioning. We will continue to work towards strengthening coordination, promoting constructive dialogue and fostering greater cooperation between educational institutions and government authorities for the benefit of students."
Tariq Ahmad Chopan, Zonal President Magam, reiterated the Association's commitment towards active participation in government initiatives. He said "The Private Schools' Association will continue to encourage maximum participation of member schools in all educational programmes, awareness campaigns, academic activities and student-centric initiatives organised by the J&K Education Department from time to time. Collaborative efforts are key to achieving excellence in education."
Altaf Raja, Zonal President Narbal, appreciated the support extended by the office of the Chief Education Officer over the years. He said "The office of the Chief Education Officer has always maintained a positive and supportive approach towards resolving issues faced by private schools. We sincerely appreciate this spirit of cooperation and are confident that under the dynamic leadership of Bashir Ahmad Ganai, this relationship will become even stronger, more responsive and more productive in the interest of quality education."
