| Congress demands high level probe, punishment to culprits | | in controversial book row |
Jammu, July 04 (Scoop News)-Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee has demanded high level probe into the controversial book issue in order to identify the culprits and punishment to the guilty in the matter, besides banning the book ,till probe.
Reacting strongly to the controversy, JKPCC said that there is no place for such a mischief ,if the book contains objectionable contents as being learnt through the media. A high level probe should be held to go into the objectionable contents and identify the culprits who approved or allowed the book to be supplied to the schools or government institutions.
The book should be banned till enquiry and the conspiracy behind should be exposed ,said JKPCC Chief Spokesperson Mr Ravinder Sharma on behalf of party.
He said that those who opposed the constitution and the nation can't be glorified or allowed to be taught as heroes.The government should immediately come out clear and take strict action in the matter, including banning of the book,he added.
