Guru Ravidas Ji's teachings are guiding force for building a harmonious and developed India: Baldev

Jammu, July 30 (Scoop News)-J&K BJP led by its General Secretary and State Convenor of the "Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji Samrasta Sankalp Abhiyan", Baldev Singh Billawaria, addressed a meeting of prominent citizens and representatives of various social and religious organizations at the BJP Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, to finalize preparations for the programmes to be organized on the occasion of the 650th Birth Anniversary of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj.

J&K BJP Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra, BJP SC Morcha President Dharminder Kumar and former Jammu Municipal Corporation Chairman Jeet Angral were also present. The meeting witnessed detailed deliberations with presidents of various temples and eminent social representatives regarding the outline of the programmes, organizational arrangements and ensuring maximum public participation.

Baldev Singh Billawaria, speaking on the occasion, said that the life and teachings of Sant Shiromani Guru Ravidas Ji Maharaj continue to inspire millions with the timeless values of social harmony, equality, dignity, brotherhood and service to humanity. He said that Guru Ji challenged discrimination and devoted his life to creating a society based on justice, mutual respect and spiritual upliftment.

Billawaria emphasized that under the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Union Government has consistently worked to preserve and promote the legacy of great saints and social reformers. He said that the Modi Government has given due recognition to Guru Ravidas Ji's invaluable contribution by encouraging initiatives that strengthen social harmony, uplift the deprived sections of society and reinforce the ideals of Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas and Sabka Prayas. He added that these efforts reflect the Government's unwavering commitment to translating Guru Ravidas Ji's message into national development and social transformation.

Calling upon all social, religious and community organizations to actively participate in the celebrations, Billawaria said that the programmes should become a people's movement carrying Guru Ji's immortal message to every household. He stressed that the 650th birth anniversary is not merely a commemorative event but an opportunity to further strengthen unity, fraternity and social cohesion across Jammu & Kashmir.

Dr. Pardeep Mahotra said that the media has an important role in taking Guru Ravidas Ji's message of equality and social harmony to every section of society.

Dharminder Kumar urged party workers and social organizations to ensure enthusiastic public participation in every programme.

Jeet Angral appealed to people to celebrate the great saint's enduring legacy and contribute towards building a more harmonious society.
