KVK Nyoma to Organise PMKVY 4.0 Skill Development Course on Mushroom Cultivation


Leh, August 06 (Scoop News)- Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Nyoma, University of Ladakh, in collaboration with the School of Agricultural Sciences & Technology (SAS&T), University of Ladakh, Leh, will organise a 390-hour Skill Development Course under the Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) 4.0 for the job role of "Mushroom Grower."

The programme aims to develop skilled human resources in mushroom cultivation while promoting self-employment and entrepreneurship among rural youth, unemployed youth, farmers, women, and students of Changthang district.

The eligibility criteria for admission are:

- 12th Pass (or equivalent) with no prior experience; or
- 10th Pass (or equivalent) with three years of relevant experience in agriculture and allied sectors.

The training programme will be conducted at Leh or Nyoma, depending on the final list of registered participants.

Interested eligible candidates are encouraged to register and avail themselves of this opportunity to acquire practical skills in mushroom cultivation, enhancing their livelihood and entrepreneurship prospects.
