| Ashok Koul reviews functioning of BJP Cells | | calls for stronger outreach and Tiranga programmes |
Jammu, August 11 (Scoop News)-J&K BJP General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul chaired a meeting of the Convenors and Co-Convenors of various Cells of the party at the BJP Headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu, to review their organizational functioning, assess the performance of different Cells, and preparations for the upcoming Tiranga campaign across Jammu & Kashmir.
J&K BJP General Secretaries Baldev Singh Billawaria and Gopal Mahajan, All Cells Convenor Ved Sharma, Co-Convenor All Cells Munish Khajuria, along with Convenors and Co-Convenors of various Cells, participated in the meeting.
Ashok Koul, while addressing the meeting, said that the party's Cells connect the party with different sections of society through continuous engagement and issue-based interventions. He said that all Cells represent a specific segment of society and serve as an effective bridge between the party and the people.
Reviewing the monthly performance of all the Cells, Ashok Koul stressed that every Cell must further intensify its outreach by identifying public concerns, regularly interacting with stakeholders, and effectively communicating the welfare initiatives and achievements of the Modi government to their respective communities. He also directed all the Cells to actively participate in the forthcoming Tiranga programmes and ensure maximum public participation.
Baldev Singh Billawaria emphasized that the Cells play a crucial role in strengthening the BJP by maintaining regular contact with their respective communities. He urged every Cell to work with greater coordination and ensure that public grievances received from different sections are effectively taken up.
Gopal Mahajan said that organizational discipline, regular activities, and continuous public engagement remain the key strengths of the BJP. He called upon all Cell office bearers to expand their reach at the district and mandal levels and encourage greater participation in party programmes.
Ved Sharma informed that the district-level teams of various Cells have been constituted and are actively carrying forward organizational responsibilities. He discussed the monthly activities undertaken by different Cells, highlighting programmes focused on public awareness, welfare outreach, interaction with community representatives, and the raising of issues concerning their respective sections.
Ved Sharma also announced the district-wise programme for the forthcoming Tiranga campaign and directed every Cell to organize Tiranga Rallies and associated patriotic activities at the district level with maximum public participation and allotted district-wise responsibilities to the office bearers.
The proceedings of the meeting were conducted by All Cells Co-Convenor Munish Khajuria.
Newly appointed Co-Convenors Satpal Sharma, Advocate Bhanu Jasrotia, Ex-DDC Sandeep Singh, and Rakesh Malhotra were felicitated by the senior leadership.
Among those present were Sham Langer, Puneet Mahajan, Basant Thakur, Deepak Kapahi, Balvinder Singh, Narinder Singh, Deepak Gupta, besides Convenors, Co-Convenors, and other senior leaders representing various BJP Cells.
