| Police Organises Grand Tiranga Bike Rally Under Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign In Sopore | |
Srinagar, August 12 (Scoop News)- In the run-up to Independence Day 2026 and as part of the nationwide Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign, Police in Sopore organised a grand Tiranga Bike Rally to promote patriotism, unity and pride in the National Flag.
The rally was flagged off from MET Ground, Sopore and witnessed enthusiastic participation from youth, community members, civil society representatives and officers and officials from Police, CRPF and Civil Administration. Participants proudly carried the Tricolour and raised patriotic slogans throughout the 8.5-km route.
The rally celebrated the spirit of Independence and also paid tribute to police martyrs and their families, remembering their sacrifices and contribution towards safeguarding the nation.
Speaking on the occasion, SSP Sopore highlighted the Tiranga as a symbol of unity, freedom and national pride and urged citizens, particularly the youth, to actively participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign and Independence Day celebrations.
The event also reflected the strong bond between the police and the public and conveyed the message that building a peaceful, united and developed nation is a shared responsibility.
Police reiterates its commitment to promoting national pride, community participation and harmony and appeals to all citizens to proudly participate in the Har Ghar Tiranga Campaign and Independence Day celebrations.
