| Retired DySP Dara Singh joins BJP along with supporters at Srinagar | | Srinagar, August 24 (Scoop News)-Retired DySP Dara Singh, along with his supporters, joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in Srinagar in the presence of J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma CA, Leader of Opposition in the J&K Legislative Assembly Sunil Sharma, Lok Sabha MP Jugal Kishore Sharma, Vice Presidents Rashpaul Verma, and Shehnaz Ganai and General Secretaries Mohammad Anwar Khan and Gopal Mahajan.
The joining programme was organized by Rash Paul Verma, Vice President, BJP Jammu & Kashmir.
Welcoming Dara Singh and his supporters into the BJP family, Sat Sharma said that the joining reflects the growing confidence of people from different sections of society in the BJP’s ideology, leadership and development-oriented approach.
“BJP welcomes every individual who comes forward with the spirit of serving the nation and society. The joining of Dara Singh and his supporters will further strengthen our organization and public outreach in Kashmir. The BJP is committed to peace, development, good governance and equal opportunities for every citizen,” Sat Sharma said.
Sat Sharma added that Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership has transformed the development and governance landscape of Jammu & Kashmir and that the BJP’s responsibility is to take the benefits of this transformation to every section of society.
Sunil Sharma said that the BJP is emerging as a platform where people who believe in national unity, development and democratic values can contribute meaningfully. “The BJP respects every citizen who wants to work for the welfare of society and the nation. We welcome Dara Singh Ji and his supporters and are confident that their experience and public connect will strengthen the party,” he said.
Jugal Kishore Sharma said the BJP’s expanding support base demonstrates that people are increasingly appreciating the party’s commitment to development and national interest. “Our doors are open to all those who want to contribute to a stronger, peaceful and developed Jammu & Kashmir,” he said.
Dara Singh expressed gratitude to the BJP leadership and said he had joined the party with the resolve to contribute to public welfare and nation-building. He said the BJP’s commitment to development, peace and inclusive progress had inspired him to become part of the organization.
