| Finance Department Organises One-Day Training/Workshop for Finance Personne | |
Leh, August 24 (Scoop News)-The Finance Department, UT of Ladakh, organised a one-day training/workshop for finance personnel today at the NIELIT Conference Hall, Leh, with participants joining through video conferencing from Kargil, Zanskar, Changthang, Sham, Nubra and Drass.
The programme was inaugurated by Sh. Ashish Kundra, IAS, Chief Secretary, UT of Ladakh, who attended as the Chief Guest.
The training focused on key aspects of financial management, including GFR 2017, DFPR 2024, procurement procedures, LIFMS, leave rules, medical reimbursement, financial concurrence and procurement compliance.
Technical sessions were delivered by senior officers of the Finance Department, including Sh. Tsewang Tharchin, IA&AS, Commissioner/Secretary, Finance Department, Ms. Stanzin Donsal, Director Finance; Sh. Jigmet Namgyal, Joint Director Finance; Dr. Zulfiqar Ali, Chief Accounts Officer and Mr. Ajaz Hussain Chief Accounts Officer.
The workshop aimed at strengthening the capacity of finance personnel, ensuring better understanding and uniform application of financial rules, and promoting transparency, efficiency and compliance in financial and procurement matters across the UT of Ladakh.
The programme concluded with concluding remarks and a vote of thanks by Ms. Gizala Shabnam, Chief Accounts Officer.
