| STEM Education Programme Organised at Government High School Murad Bagh in Drass | |
Drass, September 09 (Scoop News)-A special STEM Education Programme was organised today at Government High School in Murad Bagh with the participation of students from the school as well as nearby feeding schools.
Students from Class 6th to 8th of various schools were invited to participate in the programme. The event was aimed at promoting scientific curiosity, practical learning, innovation and interest in science among young learners.
A team of experts from STEM Education, under the guidance of Mr. Mehboob Ali, conducted a series of interesting and educational demonstrations. The experts performed several hands-on scientific experiments and explained the concepts behind them in a simple and engaging manner. The students watched the demonstrations with great enthusiasm and actively interacted with the experts.
The programme was also graced by Deputy Commissioner, Drass, Imteeaz Kacho who interacted with the students and appreciated their enthusiasm and curiosity. He also encouraged the STEM Education team and appreciated their efforts towards providing students with practical and experiential learning opportunities. Zonal Education Officer, Mohammad Ibrahim was also present on the occasion.
The programme provided students with an opportunity to learn beyond the conventional classroom through experimentation, observation and interaction with experts. The initiative was appreciated by students and teachers alike and was regarded as a valuable step towards strengthening scientific learning and STEM education in the region.
