BJP Transport Cell calls for stronger organisation, focus on Transporters’ issues in Kashmir

Budgam/Srinagar, September 10 (Scoop News)-A meeting of the BJP Transport Cell was held in Srinagar-Budgam, bringing together a large number of transporters and Cell functionaries to discuss issues confronting the transport fraternity and strengthen the party’s organizational presence across Kashmir.

Ashutosh Gupta, State Convener, BJP Transport Cell, addressing on the occasion, called upon the participants to work with greater dedication towards strengthening the Cell as well as the Bharatiya Janata Party in Kashmir. He said that the Transport Cell must emerge as an effective platform for understanding the genuine concerns of transporters and taking them to the appropriate forums for their timely resolution.

Ashutosh Gupta said that transporters are an important part of the economic and public service network, and their concerns relating to their livelihood, working conditions and other issues must receive due attention. He urged the Cell functionaries and transport representatives to systematically raise genuine issues with senior BJP leaders and the concerned authorities so that every possible effort can be made to provide relief to the people associated with the transport sector.

Gupta further called upon the Cell functionaries to actively participate in and observe the programmes and organizational activities of the BJP. He said that the party’s programmes are not merely organizational exercises but are aimed at strengthening the spirit of service towards the nation and society and reaching out to people in need. He stressed that every BJP worker should remain connected with the people and contribute towards resolving their problems through a spirit of service and responsibility.

Gupta also urged the participants to strengthen coordination among transporters, Cell functionaries and the party organization at the grassroots level, stating that a strong organizational network is essential for ensuring that public concerns are effectively communicated and pursued.

The meeting was attended by Ashraf Khan, President, Taxi Stand Budgam, along with Abdul Saleem, District Convener, Srinagar, and Amir Shafi, District Co-Convener, besides a large number of transporters and BJP Transport Cell functionaries.
