| Mission YUVA: 853 cases approved at Udhampur to support aspiring entrepreneurs | | Udhampur, September 26 (Scoop News)-: Deputy Commissioner Udhampur Minga Sherpa today chaired a meeting of the District Level Implementation Committee to review and scrutinize cases received under Mission YUVA.
The meeting deliberated on applications received under various categories of Mission YUVA, including Nano Enterprises, MSMEs and other eligible sectors, with a focus on identifying deserving beneficiaries and facilitating timely financial assistance.
The meeting was attended by GM DIC Kishore Singh Katoch; Assistant Director Employment Priyanka Gupta; representatives from the banking sector and other concerned officers.
After detailed scrutiny and deliberations, the Committee approved 853 cases for financial assistance, paving the way for aspiring entrepreneurs to establish new enterprises and expand their existing business ventures.
The DC directed the concerned departments to expedite the registration and processing of applications, encourage more youth to avail themselves of the benefits of Mission YUVA and ensure minimum rejection of applications through proper guidance, facilitation and handholding support.
The DC called for stronger coordination among line departments, financial institutions and other stakeholder agencies to accelerate the pace of the initiative and promote sustainable entrepreneurship and self-employment opportunities for the youth of the district.
