Police In Awantipora Pays Tribute to Martyrs
Visits Martyr Families, Displays Their Portraits in Schools

Srinagar, October 23 (Scoop News)-As part of the ongoing celebrations of Police Flag Day Week, Police in Awantipora organised a series of programmes to honour the supreme sacrifices of police martyrs and pay tribute to their bravery and dedication.

The police officers visited the native villages and towns of police martyrs in Sub-Division Tral and interacted with their families to express solidarity and enquire about their well-being. During the interactions, the officers patiently listened to their grievances and assured them of all possible assistance and timely redressal of their genuine concerns.

As a mark of respect and remembrance, portraits of the martyrs were displayed in the respective primary schools where they had received their early education. Floral tributes were also paid to the martyrs, while their bravery, dedication and supreme sacrifices were highlighted among students and members of the local community.

The initiative aimed to preserve the memory of the brave martyrs, inspire young minds and reinforce the enduring bond between the police and the public.
