| Police Solves Bike Theft Case in Bandipora | | Recovers Stolen Motorcycle Within 12 Hours |
Srinagar, October 25 (Scoop News)-In a swift operation, Police in Bandipora have solved a motorcycle theft case by recovering the stolen vehicle within 12 hours after the commission of crime.
Police Station Sumbal received a complaint from Tanveer Ahmad Rather son of Manzoor Ahmad Rather resident of Markipora, Pattan, stating that his Hero Glamour motorcycle bearing registration number JK05F-6142 was stolen by unknown persons from near Naidkhai Playground on October 23.
Following the complaint, a case under FIR No. 234/2026 was registered at Police Station Sumbal, and an investigation was taken up.
During the course of the investigation, the investigating team recovered the stolen motorcycle from Naidkhai area within 12 hours, marking a breakthrough in the case.
Further investigation is going on.
