Leh, October 26 (Scoop News)-The Government Industrial training Institute held a Convocation ceremony for the session of 2023-24 batch at Leh.
Commissioner/ Secretary of Higher and Technical Education, Padma Angmo, was the chief guest at the occasion. She inaugurated the ceremony and gave a motivational speech for the pass out as well as current trainees. Speaking on the momentous occasion, she congratulated all the meritorious passed out students and wished them best for future endeavours.
She emphasised that the infrastructure at the Industrial training Institute Leh will be developed at all levels. “ I want the students of ITI Ladakh to compete at National level convocations. Musical club to be opened for Music lovers to showcase their talent, vocational as well sportsmen skills to be improved, at the Institute,” She said.
Superintendent of Industrial training Institute Leh, Thinles Wangchuk presented his welcome speech, covering achievements of the institute. He said that 93 trainees have appeared in 7 trades, with 90% success of achievement for the session 2023-24. Instructors, trainers and staff were present at the momentous occasion
During the convocation, passed out meritorious students of Industrial training Institute, were awarded certificates by the Commissioner Secretary of Higher and Technical Education, Padma Angmo.
It's pertinent to mention here that as per the convocation guidelines of Directorate General of Training (DGT) Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE)Government of India, Convocation ceremonies at ITI's simultaneously being held on 26th October 2024 across the country.
