Jammu, November 14 (Scoop News)- A meeting of the National Conference (NC) Minority Cell was held at Sher-e-Kashmir Bhawan, Jammu, under the chairmanship of Bushan .Lal Bhat (Ex-MLC). The meeting brought together prominent members of the community to discuss and address pressing issues faced by the public, with a particular focus on the Kashmiri Pandit (KP) community.
In his address, Mr Bushan Lal. Bhat instructed all in-charges of camps and non-camps to actively engage with the public and gather information on the challenges and issues faced by the general public, especially by the KP community. He emphasized that these concerns should be promptly communicated to the relevant ministers to ensure swift action.
Jatin Bhat, speaking on the occasion, expressed the high expectations the KP community has from the Hon’ble Chief Minister, Omar Abdullah. He highlighted the concerns of the KP community, pointing out that the community feels neglected by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) during its ten-year rule, both directly and indirectly. Jatin Bhat assured the KP community that their genuine concerns would be addressed in a timely and effective manner.
Formation of core committee was also discussed at the meeting. The committee will be announced soon which will serve as a bridge between the Government of Jammu and Kashmir and the KP community, facilitating open communication and the swift resolution of issues.
Prominent speakers at the event included Ashok Koul, Kaka Ji, and Sumita. Others present at the meeting were RL Malla, Veer Ji, Ravinder Ji, Geeta Ji, and Manmohan. |
