Jammu, December 26 (Scoop News)-The Chamber of Tourism Trade and Industry Katra (CTTIK) earnestly appeals to the Honourable Lieutenant Governor Shri Manoj Sinha to initiate dialogue with stakeholders regarding the proposed ropeway project from Tarakot to Sanjichatt.

President Raj Kumar Padha strongly condemns the recent arrest of members of the Vaishno Devi Sangarsh Samiti, who were peacefully expressing their concerns through a procession. Such actions by the district administration are deeply regrettable and counterproductive in maintaining harmony in the region.

CTTIK appeals to the district administration, Shrine Board authorities, Board Members, and Chairman of the Shrine Board Shri Manoj Sinha to take immediate steps to release the arrested individuals. It is crucial to uphold democratic principles and respect the sentiments of those involved.

Furthermore, we urge the authorities to engage in meaningful discussions with all relevant stakeholders to address and resolve the pressing issues amicably. This collaborative approach will pave the way for progress while preserving the sanctity and smooth functioning of the pilgrimage.

President Raj Kumar Padha also reminds the government agencies of their paramount responsibility to facilitate and enhance services for visiting pilgrims. The ongoing agitation is hindering these services, and swift resolution is imperative to restore normalcy and ensure a positive experience for all pilgrims.

CTTIK remains committed to supporting initiatives that promote the development and welfare of the region and its pilgrims while fostering a spirit of unity and cooperation among all stakeholders.
