Srinagar, February 06 (Scoop News)- In its ongoing efforts to address public concerns and strengthen community engagement, Police in Pulwama facilitated Police-Community Partnership Group (PCPG) meeting at CB Nath Rajpora Pulwama.
The meeting was chaired by SSP Pulwama Ms. PD Nitya-IPS, accompanied by DySP Hqrs Pulwama and SHO PS Rajpora. Besides, prominent citizens of the area including members of Market Associations, Auqaf Bodies, Chowkidars, Numberdars, youth, and representatives of adjacent areas also attended the meeting.
While addressing, SSP Pulwama emphasized the importance of strengthening police-public relations to create a peaceful and crime-free environment. She urged attendees to actively cooperate with the police in eradicating crime and illegal activities. Besides, participants were encouraged to share information about drug smuggling and other unlawful activities to help the police take swift action against offenders.
The participants in the meeting assured their full cooperation to Police in tackling social evils and also appreciated the efforts of Pulwama Police in facilitating community interaction meets where participants express their opinions freely.
