Leh, April 11 (Scoop News)-The Chief Planning Officer (CPO) Leh, Sh. Konchok Gyalson, chaired a meeting to discuss the formulation of the District Capex Budget for 2026–27 at the VC Room, DC Office, Leh.
The meeting focused on reviewing the status of ongoing schemes, particularly those pending closure. Key directives issued during the meeting included the preparation of a comprehensive list of closed schemes, and clear identification of allotted and targeted projects.
Departments were also instructed to develop a structured action plan to ensure timely implementation and closure of projects.
While formulating the action plan, it was highlighted that priority should be given to works that are due for closure in the current financial year.
The meeting was attended by the Superintending Engineers of PWD and PHE/I&FC, Leh; the Assistant Commissioner Development, Leh; Executive Engineers from PW(R&B), Construction Divisions, SSD Khaltsi, PHE/I&FC, LDA, and EDD; as well as the Assistant Directors (Planning) from PWD, Rural Development, and Education departments. While SSD Nyoma & SSD Nubra joined the meeting virtually.
