Awantipora, April 13 (Scoop News)- Under the Alumni Connect initiative, the Department of Mathematical Sciences at Islamic University of Science and Technology organized an alumni engagement program on the theme “Research Methodology in Statistics & Mathematics.” The session was conducted by department alumnus Dr. Aamir Ahmad Dar, currently serving as a faculty member at Lovely Professional University.
During the session, Dr. Dar shared valuable insights into research methodology, while also highlighting potential avenues for academic collaboration. He emphasized its role in providing a structured and systematic approach to solving real-life problems in Mathematics and Statistics. He further highlighted the interdisciplinary applications of these fields, particularly in healthcare and data science, inspiring participants to explore innovative research directions.
