Jammu, May 02 (Scoop News)-J&K BJP President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma chaired a meeting of the party’s Social Media and IT Departments at the BJP headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

J&K BJP General Secretary Sanjita Dogra, Secretary Reema Padha, Library Department Incharge Prof Kulbhushan Mohtra, Social Media Department Incharge Dr. Makson Tickoo, IT Department Incharge Gaurav Balgotra, along with the teams of Social Media and IT Departments participated in the meeting.

Sat Sharma, while addressing, stressed that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the BJP has transformed political communication in the country by directly connecting with the masses through technology, transparency, and public-centric governance. He asserted that while opposition parties are attempting to mislead the people through false narratives and divisive politics, BJP workers must actively expose their hypocrisy and take the achievements of the Modi government to every household.

Sat Sharma reviewed the functioning and ongoing activities of both departments. He discussed future strategies aimed at strengthening political outreach, public engagement, and ideological communication through digital platforms. He said that in the present political scenario, social media and IT platforms have become decisive battlefields where truth and nationalism must prevail over propaganda and misinformation.

Sat Sharma said that the Social Media and IT Departments are not merely organizational units, but powerful instruments to protect nationalist ideology, promote developmental politics, and counter anti-India and anti-development narratives being spread on digital platforms. He stressed that BJP workers must remain proactive and fact-driven in highlighting the government’s welfare schemes, historic reforms, and commitment towards the empowerment of youth, women, farmers, and marginalized sections.

Sanjita Dogra said that the digital strength of the BJP reflects the confidence and support the party enjoys among the people, particularly the youth. She called upon the departmental teams to work with greater discipline, coordination, and creativity so that the voice of nationalism, development, and good governance reaches every corner of Jammu and Kashmir.

During the meeting, Dr. Makson Tickoo and Gaurav Balgotra presented detailed reports regarding the activities, achievements, digital campaigns, training initiatives, public outreach efforts, and technological support systems being undertaken by their respective departments.
