Awantipora, May 14 (Scoop News)-As part of the University’s online campaign envisioned by the Vice Chancellor, Prof Shakil Ahmad Romshoo, the Dean of Students Office IUST recently organised a badge distribution ceremony among the Student Council members and faculty members of the university under the Nasha Mukt Abhiyaan IUST. The badge distribution is being organised in collaboration with the Centre for Good Governance and Policy Analysis.
The program, which is a part of a sensitisation series under the campaign, coordinated by Dr. Monisa Qadiri, Dean of Students was presided over by the Controller of Examinations Prof Rumaan Bashir and was attended by Dean Outreach Dr. Ruheela Hassan, Dean of Humanities and Social Sciences Dr Afroz Bisati, and senior faculty members Dr Asifa Baba (Dy Dir CGGPA), Dr Ashraf Parray, Dr Farhana Allai, Dr Mujeeb Liyakat and other staff members from offices of Dean of Students and PR.
The ambassadors pledged to create an anti-drug ecosystem in and outside the university and vowed to keep themselves and their communities drug-free.
