Leh, May 19(Scoop News)-Eight students from the Union Territory of Ladakh, including seven from Leh district and one from Kargil district, participated in the two-day National Camp of Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) 2025-26 held at the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Gandhinagar, Gujarat, from May 15 to 18, 2026.
The students qualified for the national camp after successfully clearing the State Level VVM Examination. Representing Ladakh at the national platform, the students were accompanied by their State Coordinators from Leh and Kargil districts.
During the camp, the students appeared in rigorous examinations and participated in various scientific and academic activities alongside students from Classes VI to XI from different States and Union Territories across the country. The camp provided them with valuable exposure, enriching learning experiences and practical knowledge in the field of science and innovation.
Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan (VVM) is India’s largest digital-based Science Talent Search Examination for school students from Classes VI to XI. The programme aims to create awareness and interest in pure science, foster scientific temperament, and nurture talented young minds with scientific aptitude.
VVM is an initiative of Vijnana Bharati in collaboration with National Council of Science Museums and National Council of Educational Research and Training.
