Awantipora, May 20(Scoop News)-As part of its ongoing Industry Connect Initiative, the Department of English Language and Literature, Islamic University of Science and Technology, organised an industrial visit for students to iQuasar LLC at HiQmah, located at iQuasar HQ, Rangreth, Srinagar. The visit aimed to expose students to professional work environments, create awareness about emerging career opportunities, and encourage them to explore avenues beyond conventional academic pathways.
The programme featured interactive sessions with professionals from the company who shared valuable industry insights and practical experiences. Mr. Qaisar Jamal, Team Lead – Learning & Development, HiQmah, highlighted the importance of communication skills, confidence building, and professional growth. Ms. Syed Afshan Qadri shared insights from her professional journey and highlighted the importance of discipline, perseverance, and clarity of vision in achieving success. Ms. Huzaifa Bazaz spoke about overcoming societal challenges through self-belief and resilience, while Mr. Owais Rafiq encouraged students to remain committed to their goals. Collectively, the speakers emphasised the importance of continuous learning, dedication, and professional growth.
The sessions were followed by interactive question-and-answer discussions on career opportunities, workplace expectations, and skill enhancement. The visit concluded with informal interaction between students and members of the organisation.
The industrial visit was coordinated by Dr. Manzoor Ahmad Najar, while Ms. Isma Hamid, Senior Assistant Professor, accompanied the students. The programme was organised under the guidance of the Head of the Department, Dr. Munejah Khan.
