BJP Mahila Morcha celebrates Raksha Bandhan at party headquarters


Jammu, August 28 (Scoop News)-J&K BJP Mahila Morcha reinforced the bonds of affection, mutual respect and organizational unity by tying Rakhis to senior party leaders at the party headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.

The programme, organized by Adv. Neha Mahajan, President, BJP Mahila Morcha, J&K, was attended by BJP Vice President Priya Sethi, General Secretary Sanjita Dogra and General Secretary Baldev Singh Billawaria along with BJP Mahila Morcha team.

Adv. Neha Mahajan and members of the Mahila Morcha tied Rakhis to BJP J&K President and Rajya Sabha MP Sat Sharma, General Secretary (Organization) Ashok Koul and General Secretary Baldev Singh Billawaria, conveying a heartfelt message of respect, trust and collective commitment to public service.

Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said that Raksha Bandhan represents one of India’s most cherished traditions, symbolizing the sacred bond of protection, affection, trust and mutual responsibility. He said that the festival transcends its traditional significance and strengthens the spirit of social harmony and togetherness.

Sat Sharma said that the BJP is not merely a political organization but a family of dedicated activists united by the ideals of Seva, Samarpan and Sangathan. He appreciated the dedicated efforts of Mahila Morcha workers, saying that women have emerged as a powerful pillar of the BJP organization and are making a significant contribution to strengthening the party’s grassroots presence. He called upon party workers to carry forward the spirit of service and work collectively for the welfare of society and the nation.

Ashok Koul said that Raksha Bandhan conveys the timeless message of trust, harmony and mutual responsibility. He said that such celebrations strengthen the emotional bonds among cadre and reflect the BJP’s distinctive organizational culture.

Koul appreciated the active role of women workers in party programmes and organizational activities, stating that the strength of the BJP lies in the dedication, discipline and commitment of its cadre. He said that every worker must continue to strengthen the organization at the grassroots while remaining committed to the larger national mission.

Priya Sethi said that Raksha Bandhan reflects the strength of relationships founded on trust, respect and responsibility, while Sanjita Dogra described the celebration as a reflection of the BJP’s culture of togetherness and familial bonding.

Sanjita Dogra asked for a renewed resolve to strengthen Seva, Samarpan and Sangathan and work collectively towards public welfare and nation-building.

Baldev Singh Billawaria appreciated the Mahila Morcha for organizing the programme and said that such occasions energize workers and strengthen organizational unity.

Adv. Neha Mahajan said that tying Rakhis to senior leaders was a heartfelt expression of respect and affection, reflecting the strong bonds shared by BJP cadre as one organizational family.
