Jammu, September 19 (Scoop News)-Bharatiya Janata Party Spokesperson, Rajni Sethi, expressed deep sorrow and anguish over the tragic death of Deepak Sharma in
Resham Ghar/Krishna Nagar area of Jammu” and urged the police authorities to conduct a fair, impartial, transparent and time-bound investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death.
She said that the untimely death of a person who was a father of two children is deeply painful and heart-wrenching. The tragedy has left the entire family devastated, particularly as his father is already suffering from paralysis. Deepak Sharma is survived by his mother, wife and two children, making the circumstances even more distressing for the bereaved family.
Expressing her heartfelt condolences, she said that the entire BJP family stands with the family of Deepak Sharma in this difficult and painful hour. She said that the family needs both emotional support and clarity regarding the circumstances in which their loved one lost his life.
She stated that the exact circumstances leading to the death are a matter of investigation and that the police have already initiated the necessary proceedings. She urged the concerned police authorities to act swiftly and complete the investigation at the earliest, while ensuring that every aspect of the case is examined carefully, objectively and scientifically.
She said that a fast, professional and transparent investigation will also provide some reassurance to the grieving family, who are going through an extremely difficult period and are naturally seeking answers about what happened to their loved one. The family should be able to see that the police are taking prompt action and treating the matter with the seriousness it deserves.
She further said that, as per the family’s concerns, certain circumstances surrounding the death have raised questions and suspicion in their minds. However, no one should jump to conclusions or attribute any particular motive or cause until the investigation is completed and the facts are established through evidence.
The concerned police station and investigating authorities must examine all relevant aspects of the case, including the circumstances at the scene, forensic evidence, post-mortem findings, CCTV footage, statements of witnesses and any other material evidence that may help establish what actually happened.
She also appealed to the public to exercise restraint and avoid spreading rumours, speculation or unverified information through social media. Different versions and claims may circulate following such a tragic incident, but the truth can only be established through a proper investigation.
