Speaking on the occasion, S. Balvinder Singh described the commencement of the project as an important step towards resolving a long-pending problem and improving facilities for devotees visiting the Gurudwara Sahib, particularly during religious congregations and special Gurpurab celebrations.

He expressed confidence that the completion of the work would help maintain a cleaner environment and provide greater convenience to the Sangat.
S. Balvinder Singh stated that the Sangat of the area had entrusted him with the responsibility of pursuing essential developmental works at the Gurudwara Sahib. He emphasised that the DGPC Jammu was making sincere efforts to address the genuine concerns of the devotees and fulfil their aspirations by facilitating necessary infrastructure improvements.
He further assured the Sangat that the remaining developmental works would also be taken up shortly. He informed the devotees that efforts would soon be made to install ornamental electric poles to enhance the beauty, illumination and overall appearance of the Gurudwara Sahib.
S. Balvinder Singh expressed his sincere gratitude to the Jammu Municipal Corporation and its senior officers for approving the project and extending their support towards improving facilities at the religious complex. He reiterated his commitment to working in close coordination with the concerned authorities and the local Sangat to ensure the continued development, cleanliness and proper upkeep of the Gurudwara Sahib.
