| Two-day training on RTI Act, 2005 begins | |
Leh (Ladakh), February 22 (Scoop News)-A two-day virtual training on RTI Act, 2005, organised by the General Administration Department (GAD) of the Administration of UT Ladakh, began at NIELIT Leh. The objective of the training was to enhance the capacities of officers/officials of UT Ladakh. Master trainer, legal & human resource expert, Mahabir Singh Kasana from New Delhi, was the resource person for the training.
Participants from Kargil attended the meeting through video conferencing.
A total of 33 officers and officials working at the UT Secretariat took part in the training. Mahabir gave a detailed presentation on the tenets of the RTI Act, 2005 and its implementation. He also responded to the queries from the participants.
