Nyoma, August 15 (Scoop News)-Partition Horrors Remembrance Day was observed in District Changthang at Deputy Commissioner Office to commemorate the victims and remember the immense suffering and displacement endured by millions during the Partition of India in 1947.
On the occasion, Officers along with officials of various department participated in the programme
On the Ocassion Speaker highlighted the importance of remembering the sacrifices and suffering of those affected by Partition while reaffirming the values of peace, unity, harmony and brotherhood. The observance also served as a reminder of the need to preserve communal harmony and strengthen the spirit of national unity.

Khaltsi, August 15 (KIP)- The Deputy Commissioner, Sham, Smt. Kunzes Angmo (JKAS), today unfurled the National Flag at the DC Office, Khaltsi, as part of the celebrations of the 80th Independence Day.
The National Flag was unfurled by the Deputy Commissioner in the presence of SDM, Khaltsi, Mohd Sharif; SHO, Khaltsi, Tsewang Norboo; Naib Tehsildar, Khaltsi, Attahullah, along with subordinate staff of the concerned offices.
On the occasion, a contingent of Ladakh Police, Khaltsi, presented the Guard of Honour to the Deputy Commissioner.
