Kargil, March 31 (Scoop News)-Hon’ble Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), LAHDC Kargil, Dr. Mohd Jaffer Akhoon, today inaugurated the Inception Workshop on the preparation of People’s Biodiversity Registers (PBRs) at Syed Mehdi Auditorium Hall, Kargil.
The workshop was organized by the Ladakh Biodiversity Council in collaboration with the Department of Forest, Ecology and Environment, UT Ladakh, and the Foundation for Revitalization of Local Health Traditions (FRLHT), Bengaluru.

Leh, March 31 (Scoop News)-The Horticulture Department, Union Territory of Ladakh, and National Co-operative Exports Limited (NCEL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to promote export of Ladakh's agricultural and allied produce.
The MoU was executed by Mr. Tsewang Punchok, Director of Horticulture, UT Ladakh, and Mr.Unupom Kausik, Managing Director, NCEL, at the World Trade Centre, New Delhi. The Cooperative Department, UT Ladakh, will act as the coordinating agency to facilitate implementation.

Leh,March 28 (Scoop News)- The Ladakh Subordinate Services Staff Selection Board (LSSSSB) successfully conducted the Technical Paper (Paper-II) for the posts of Drugs Control Officer and Legal Assistant/Junior Legal Assistant today at Leh and Kargil centres.
For the post of Drug Control Officer (Morning session: 10:00 AM–11:30 AM), 38 out of 54 candidates appeared at Leh, while 67 out of 81 candidates appeared at Kargil.
For the post of Legal Assistant/ Junior Legal Assistant (Evening session: 2:00 PM–3:30 PM), 49 out of 58 candidates appeared at Leh, while 39 out of 49 candidates appeared at Kargil.
