| EC Syed Abbas visits Taisuru | | Takes stock of development activities, lays foundation stone of Panchayat ghar at Yuljuk | Kargil, June 09 (Scoop News)-Executive councilor for Works Aga Syed Abbas Razvi conducted an extensive tour of Taisuru Block today during which he visited different villages and took status of developmental works and issues related to works of the Kargil-Zanskar Road NH-301, infrastructure and irrigation.
At Karpokhar village, the EC Works directed the contracting company to engage locals in works related to national highway.
The EC was informed by the concerned officers that a crusher site will be constructed in the village to which he assured that all sort of cooperation will be given by the villagers to pace up the developmental works and further stressed to pay the compensation well in time.
EC Syed Abbas Razvi also interacted with the teachers and students of the community classes at Karpo Khar and stressed the concerned officers and teachers to ensure that the community classes are conducted in the best possible manner.
The EC works along with the concerned officers also visited Linchithang Rgyaling Machinery Site which is being allotted for machinery works related to the Kargil-Zanskar National Highway NH-301.
Project Manager Infra Private Limited Syed Hassan Azhar Zaidi informed the EC Works that the site will be used for stationing of staff, labour, construction of WMM camp, hot mix camp, diesel laboratory and other allied purposes.
EC Syed Abbas directed the construction company that local skilled labourers and drivers should given priority while executing the works.
On the occasion, the public representatives of the village stressed that rent for one year should be paid in advance.
At Purtickchay, the EC took stock of the construction works of the Panchayat Ghar and directed the concerned officers to complete the construction works within stipulated period of time. He also visited Yuljuk village and laid the foundation stone of the new Panchayat building.
While taking stock of the construction of Public Park at Chubar Taisuru, the EC Works directed the concerned officers and contracting agency to start the work at earliest possibility after negotiating with the land owners.
Meanwhile, EC Syed Abbas Razvi also took a review meeting to take stock of the pace of progress achieved on different developmental works undertaken in different departments such as roads, buildings and other infrastructure works in Taisuru Constituency.
The EC Works directed the concerned officers to accelerate the pace of works to ensure their early completion keeping in view the short working season.
The EC also interacted with a number of public representatives, PRI members and individuals who projected their issues, demands and developmental needs including the repairing of irrigation khuls, payment of road compensation and other related issues.
EC Syed Abbas Razvi assured the locals that all issues will be looked into on priority and necessary measures will be taken to address them in a phased manner.
