| Dussehra festival celebrated with enthusiasm in Udhampur | |  Udhampur, October 24 (Scoop News)- Like other parts of the country, Dussehra was celebrated with great enthusiasm and religious fervor at the Sports Stadium in Udhampur today evening.
Thousands of people joined in the celebrations, where the effigies of Ravana, Kumbhakarna, and Meghnad were set ablaze, symbolizing the victory of truth over evil.
Deputy Commissioner Udhampur, Saloni Rai, Additional Deputy Commissioner Joginder Singh Jasrotia, Additional SP Anwar-Ul-Haq, as well as other prominent individuals and a large gathering of people.
The administration had made adequate arrangements for security, barricading, drinking water, power supply, and medical facilities, including the deployment of ambulances, ensuring a successful and safe celebration at the Sports Stadium in Udhampur.
