November 19 (Scoop News)-JKPCC Senior Vice President & Chief spokesperson Mr Ravinder Sharma has said that Smt Indira Gandhi had created history in the world by dividing Pakistan and creation of Bangladesh, for which every Indian feels proud .
Paying rich tributes to Smt Indira Gandhi on her birth anniversary today at a meeting of prominent party workers including Mahila congress and youth congress, at Sunderbani, Mr Sharma said that many leaders in the country and world try to copy & match Indira ji , but they are no match to her, so far, as She was remains unmatchable. She was so decisive, bold & daring leader who could divide Pakistan and create a new country besides taking several other bold & timely decisions in the national interests.
Senior Congress leader said that every Prime Minister contributed in many ways but what Indira Gandhi could do for the nation , no body could do. She also never boosted of her, as few others but her contributions ,commitment & sacrifice to the nation are unmatchable.
Her decision of nationalisation of banks & abolishing of privy purses of erstwhile Maharajas/ Rajas & several other such decisions were also a very bold & timely decisions which saved people's money & had to lay lay down her life.
Her political grooming under Mahatma Gandhi, Pt Jawahar Lal Nehru and several other stalwarts of congress was such that she could face every challenge and deal with every difficult situations. As a young leader,She led the Bharat Chhodo Andolanin 1942, when entire Congress leadership was jailed, while few other so called nationalist were helping Britishers to crush the Congress and defeat the movement.
