| Lok Sabha Election 2024: Training conducted for employees of Education Department in Kargil | |
Kargil,April 25 (Scoop News)- In preparation for the upcoming Lok Sabha Election-2024, the 2nd shift of training session was conducted today for the employees of Education Department at Auditorium Hall in Kargil.
Deputy Commissioner/District Election Officer, Kargil, Shrikant Suse and Election Naib Tehsildar, Zakir Hussain, attended the training session.
The District Election Officer Kargil focused on various topics including procedures and protocols required to followed by polling parties during poll day and directed to perform their duties with full dedication and transparency.
The training was conducted by DLMTs Senior Lecturers, Kacho Hassan Khan, Mohd Ali, and Mohd Hassan. Presiding Officers/Polling Officers received intensive training during the session, acquainting them with the rules, procedures, and latest instructions of the Election Commission of India.
They were instructed on the proper functioning of EVM/VVPAT, the EDC process and compliance regarding various statutory and non-statutory forms involved in conducting elections.
Additionally, a demonstration was conducted on the mock poll procedures, sealing of the EVMs etc.
The training concluded by highlighting each officer's designated duties to ensure seamless conduct of poll, emphasizing transparency throughout the process.
