Leh, November21 (Scoop News)- The National Institute of Sowa-Rigpa, Leh has organised two days' workshop cum training program for Sowa-Rigpa Practitioners of Leh District on November 19th and 20th 2024 at conference hall of the Institute.
The workshop is attended by around 82 Sowa-Rigpa practitioners from various parts of Ladakh. Eminent Sowa¬Rigpa experts and Doctors have presented technical lectures and practical training on various aspects of public health and Sowa-Rigpa.
Shri Stanzin Chosphel, Hon'ble Executive Councillor (Agriculture, Art and Culture), LAHDC, Leh, was the Chief Guest for the valedictory session. Dr Padma Gurmet, Director National Institute of Sowa-Rigpa, Leh has presented the summary of two days workshop in his address highlighting the role of Sowa-Rigpa for public health in Ladakh and also presented the recommendation of two days' workshop.
Certificate is distributed to participants and experts by the Chief Guest. While presenting his Chief Guest address Shri Stanzin Chosphel, Hon'ble Executive Councillor, LAHDC, Leh expressed full support of LAHDC, Leh for preservation and promotion of Sowa-Rigpa and rTsis. He also announced to provide grant from LAHDC, Leh for Amchis to purchase medicine and preparation of Lotho.
At last Dr Tashi Stobgais, Associate Professor presented vote of thanks.
