Sat, Sunil, Dr. Narinder released poems based on Guru Ravidass | | Jammu, February 15 (Scoop News)-Jammu and Kashmir Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Sat Sharma, along with Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma, BJP National Secretary Dr. Narinder Singh, UT General Secretary Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal, National Executive Member Priya Sethi, Media Incharge Dr. Pardeep Mahotra and other leaders released a set of Hindi poems based on the teachings and thoughts of Guru Ravidass.
These poems have been written by BJP spokesperson and former chairperson Balbir Ram Rattan.
Speaking on the occasion, Sat Sharma said, "Guru Ravidass preached the message of equality, brotherhood, and humanity in society. His teachings are still relevant today and guide us on the right path. These poems are a small but significant effort to honour his greatness."
Sat Sharma also appreciated Balbir Ram Rattan's literary contribution and said that these poems present Guru Ravidass' teachings in simple language and will serve as an inspiration for the younger generation.
Leader of Opposition Sunil Sharma said that these poems reflect Guru Ravidas ji’s egalitarian thoughts, spirituality, and humanitarian vision. They have been written especially for BJP’s Ravidass Jayanti programmes and will serve as an inspiration to society.
Dr. Narinder Singh stated that Guru Ravidass ji’s compositions promote brotherhood and devotion to God. He said that Guru Ravidass devoted his life for social equality.
Dr. Devinder Kumar Manyal highlighted that Sant Ravidass' life symbolized social reform and spiritual wisdom. He opposed casteism and untouchability and preached the message of equality.
Priya Sethi remarked that Guru Ravidass taught love, devotion, and humanity. His writings encourage brotherhood and devotion to God.
Balbir Ram Rattan said that through these poems, he has tried to spread the message and teachings of Guru Ravidass to society.
Jaideep Sambyal, Ravinder Singh Birpuria, Dr. Makson Tikoo and others were also present on the occasion.
