𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗺𝘂, March 22 (Scoop News)-In continuation with its efforts to examine physical wellbeing of the personnel, for which process of Psychiatric Check-up of Officers and officials is being conducted at Headquarters IRP 18th Bn. The Camp was organised in collaboration with Govt Psychiatric Diseases Hospital GMC Jammu. 126 Officers/officials of IRP 18th Bn. were examined by specialist Doctors from the said Hospital.
The critical topics pertaining to the mental health of the personnel were discussed threadbare, during the camp and the personnel were guided on the issues of stress management and mental health.
During the check- up a few cases of small Psychiatric disorders were found and remedial measures suggested by Doctors on the spot.
The medical camp was organized to provide basic health care facilities to the Unit personnel. The medical team also shared tips on how to manage stress and avoid these ailments.
The initiative highlighted the importance of maintaining good health conditions, especially those working in stressful situations like law enforcement.
Commandant concerned also emphasised upon the importance of hygiene and other preventive health care measures in day to day life, which helps in maintaining a healthy life style.
The Concerned Commandant expressed his gratitude to the said medical team and all the participants for their cooperation in making the event successful.
