| Special Gram Sabha Held at Panchayat Chushul | |
Chushul, March 24 (Scoop News)-A special Gram Sabha was conducted at the Community Hall, Chushul, under the chairmanship of Councillor Konchok Stanzin of Chushul Constituency. The Sabha witnessed the active participation of community members and local representatives to discuss and plan key developmental initiatives for the region.
The Panchayat Secretary provided a briefing on the progress of MGNREGA and Grant-in-Aid (GIA) projects, highlighting key achievements and ongoing efforts.
The meeting covered several important agendas, including:
• Annual Action Plan under MGNREGA 2025-26
• Spot Identification of Approved Plans under Vibrant Village Programme (VVP)
• Identification of Beneficiaries under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana - Gramin (PMAY-G)
• Swachh Bharat Mission (SBM) 2024-25
• Implementation of Vibrant Village Programme (VVP)
• Repair of Traditional Ranthak (Barley Flour Mill)
• Saturation of Ladakh Greenhouses for Agricultural Sustainability
• Saturation of Solar Water Heaters for Energy Efficiency
Additionally, a fruitful discussion was held on various community concerns, including livestock management, infrastructure development, beautification of Chushul, ration card verification, CCDF developmental works, and grievances related to the Jal Jeevan Mission (JJM).
Around 80 residents, led by Numbardar Chushul, actively participated, making the Sabha a productive and meaningful engagement.
Councillor Konchok Stanzin appreciated the Panchayat Secretary for the successful implementation of MGNREGA initiatives and other Rural Development Department (RDD) projects, acknowledging their significant contribution to community development.
This Gram Sabha reaffirmed the commitment of local leadership towards sustainable growth and welfare in Chushul, ensuring effective governance and development.
