| Route March Conducted by IRP 2nd Bn Rajouri | |
Rajouri,March 25 (Scoop News)-IRP 2nd Battalion Conducted a Route March from Battalion Headquarters Rajouri to Saim Samit and back. 80 Police personnel participated in the event, covering around 4 kilometres.
All the unit personnel and trainees undergoing Special Refresher Course participated in the Route March. The march was conducted to improve physical fitness, discipline, coordination among jawans and build a confidence among general public of the area.
On the occasion, Shri Aijaz Malik, SP, I/C. Commandant IRP 2nd Battalion Rajouri praised the enthusiasm and resilience of the jawans and emphasized the need for physical fitness in maintaining law and order and safety of public and property.
He further added that, holding of such Route marches serves in refreshing the personnel in boosting their morale and fostering unity and teamwork within personnel. It also helps in maintaining Surveillance and domination of the area adjacent to the Headquarters and to make the Jawans physically fit.
The Route March was an effort to infuse confidence in the Battalion personnel. It has also been decided that such exercises shall be conducted invariably ,so as to keep the personnel agile and in readiness to face any kind of challenge.
During the Route March, personnel showed high sense of discipline and commitment.
