Bandipora, April 14 (Scoop News)- An emotional appeal is gaining momentum in Bandipora as public voices including elected representatives urge a compassionate and fair approach toward Tahir Hussain—a reformed youth currently in police custody.
MLA Bandipora took to social media platform X to express support for the young man, the son of a martyred police officer who is now actively involved in mainstream politics.
“Tahir Mir, an educated and potential youth, is the son of a police martyr. He is now active in mainstream politics and presently in police custody. The worthy SSP well knows his credentials as a reformed person and may overlook what is being spread as a canard,” the MLA posted.
The statement reflects growing concern that recent legal action could undermine his path of transformation.
Tawheed Sheikh, spokesperson for the MLA, shared an emotional account of the youth’s journey from a troubled past to a hopeful present on his Facebook account.
