| Nandraaz Temple trust Ashmuji organizes 2-day Maha Yagya in Jammu | |
Jammu, April 14 (Scoop News)-The displaced Kashmiri Pandits organized a Maha Yagya with immense reverence and devotion dedicated to Shri Nandraaz ji (Nundkeshwar Bhairav) on the occasion of Vaishak's commencement in the capital city of Jammu, for the welfare of Sanatan dharma.
The two-day long Yagya was organized by Shri Nandraaz Prabandik Trust Ashmuji at Swami Mahesh Bharti Ashram in Lower Roopnagar, starting on Purnamashi and concluding on Baisakhi.
Over 300 members of the village Bharadari, along with their extended families, including married daughters participated and partook in Navidham bhooj.
Amidst the chanting of mantras and shlokas, the Yagya, presided over by Guru Shri Pran Nath ji, was organized to pray for peace, progress, and prosperity of the community under the astute blessing of Bhairavnath Nandraaz ji.
A soulful Bhajan Sandhya was organized by Shri Hari Kirtan Adhyatmik Jagriti Mission under the leadership of its President, Dr J N Raina, with devotional singing by Basant Ji and Shuban Raina Ji. The atmosphere resonated with spiritual energy as devotees swayed and danced with joy to the melodious recitation of shlokas and bhajans, fully immersed in the divine ambiance.
Postcard pictures of revered Shri Nandraaz ji and Mata Shiva Bhagwati were distributed among devotees along with Athoor and Atigut besides fruits to the village daughters.
Juice packs were distributed among devotees by Social Reform and Charitable organization in collaboration with Dabur India Ltd on the occasion of the Mahayagya.
The committee, headed by Shri Ramesh Bhat, decided to hold the Yagya and initiate the construction process for a temple and Bhawan dedicated to the deity Shri Nandraaz ji.
General Secretary Shri Sanjay Bhat expressed gratitude to the Bharadari for wholeheartedly participating in the holy function and pledged to advance the mission.
Volunteers and office bearers of the Trust, including Mahesh Pandita, Suresh Pandita, Sunil Bhat, Raja Ji, Roop Krishen Bhat, Buntu Ji, Minto Ji, Rakesh Bhat, Chuni Lal Ji, Maharaj Krishen Ji, Sandeep Koul, Sunil Bhat, Anil Bhat, and Ashok Bhat Ji, worked diligently to ensure the success of the event.
